How Much Does A Metal Building Cost?
Metal building prices are driven by six things: width, length, wall height, roof style, gauge of
steel, and windows/doors. A 12' × 21' Regular Style building is our entry-level unit; a large
Vertical Roof triple wide with extra wall height, roll-up doors, and closed sides sits at the top of the
range. Because pricing and certification requirements change by state, live prices are shown on each style
page — select a roof style above, then choose your state to see the exact delivered and installed
price.
Ways To Lower Your Building Price
- Choose the Regular Style roof if curb appeal is not a priority.
- Keep standard 9' walls unless you need extra drive-in clearance.
- Stay within the standard length range for your style to avoid a Vertical Roof upgrade.
- Order windows and roll-up doors now instead of retrofitting later.
Metal Building Options & Upgrades
- Extended wall heights up to 14' for extra drive-in or walk-in clearance.
- Windows and/or walk-in doors for easy access or natural light.
- Different size roll-up doors or placement — custom design your building as needed.
- Helical/asphalt anchors for certified installation, where available.
- 12-gauge steel frame upgrade from the standard 14-gauge for higher snow loads.
- 14 color choices for roof, walls, and trim.
- Higher wind and snow ratings to satisfy local building codes.
We also build fully custom configurations — different roll-up door sizes and placements, lean-tos,
and non-standard widths and lengths. See our
Metal Carport & Building FAQ
for specifications and site-prep instructions.
Certified Steel Buildings: Wind & Snow Load Ratings
Standard certification on our metal buildings is 140 MPH wind / 25 PSF snow load, with
upgrades available to 170 MPH / 65 PSF for coastal, high-wind, and heavy-snow regions.
Certification is based on installation on an existing concrete slab with a proper footing, using rebar or
concrete anchors. Certified engineered drawings are available when your county requires them for a
building permit — just tell us your job-site address when you order.

Metal Building FAQs
What's the difference between Regular, Boxed Eave, and Vertical Roof metal buildings?
Regular Style has rounded barn-style corners with horizontal roof panels and is the most economical
option, running up to 36' long. Boxed Eave Style has an A-frame roof line that looks more like a house,
but tops out at 31' long. Vertical Roof Style has panels running from the peak down to the eaves,
making it the strongest style and the only one available past 31'–36' — up to 41' single-wide
or 51' triple-wide.
How wide and long can a metal building be?
Widths run from 12' to 30' across all three styles. Lengths vary by style: Regular Style runs up to
36' long, Boxed Eave Style up to 31' long, and Vertical Roof Style up to 41' long single-wide or 51'
long triple-wide.
Do metal buildings include windows and doors?
Triple wide buildings include two 10' x 8' roll-up doors as standard. Windows, walk-in doors, and
additional or differently sized roll-up doors can be added and positioned to fit your needs when you
order.
Is delivery and installation really free?
Yes. The listed price includes free delivery and installation on your existing concrete slab within
our service area. Local sales tax applies and warranty terms vary by manufacturer and region.
Do I need a concrete slab for a metal building?
Yes. Certification for our fully enclosed metal buildings is based on installation on an existing
concrete slab with a proper footing, using rebar or concrete anchors.
Do I need a permit for a metal building?
Permit requirements are set by your city or county, not by us. We can supply certified engineered
drawings for your wind and snow zone when your building department requires them.
Can I finance my metal building?
Yes — we've partnered with major lenders to offer financing, and rent-to-own is available to
land and homeowners in select states.
