Certification is based on installation over concrete with a proper footing, or on the use of optional ground installation anchors into a suitable surface.

In California, either a building permit or a permit waiver is required before installation can take place — just tell us your California job-site address when you order and we'll help you determine what your county requires. In most areas of California, free generic engineering prints are not acceptable; customers will need to purchase site-specific engineered plans at an additional cost to meet local permit requirements.
