Looking for the longest metal RV cover available? Regular and Boxed Eave Style RV covers
run up to 36 feet long. For anything longer, our
Vertical Roof Style RV cover
is the only option that runs further — up to 41 feet long, the longest RV cover we
build. That extra length matters for Class A motorhomes and longer fifth wheels that won't fit under a
standard 36-foot structure.

How Much Does An RV Cover Cost?
RV cover prices are driven by five things: width, length, leg height, roof style, and gauge of
steel. A 12' × 26' Regular Style cover is our entry-level unit; a large Vertical Roof cover
with extra leg height and closed sides sits at the top of the range. Because pricing and certification
requirements change by state, live prices are shown on each style page — select a roof style above,
then choose your state to see the exact delivered and installed price.
Ways To Lower Your RV Cover Price
- Choose the Regular Style roof if curb appeal is not a priority.
- Stay at or below 36' long so a Vertical Roof upgrade is not required.
- Keep standard 12' legs unless you need extra clearance.
- Order the extended gable end and side panels now instead of retrofitting later.
RV Cover Options & Upgrades
- Extended gable end on the back of your RV cover for extra strength and weather protection.
- Additional side panels or full/partial enclosure to keep blowing rain off your RV.
- Additional leg height up to 16' for extra clearance.
- Helical/asphalt anchors for certification on ground or asphalt.
- 12-gauge steel frame upgrade from the standard 14-gauge for higher snow loads.
- 14 color choices for the roof, side panels, and trim.
We also build fully custom configurations — specific widths or lengths, lean-tos, and more. See our
Metal Carport FAQ
for specifications and site-prep instructions.
Certified RV Covers: Wind & Snow Load Ratings
Standard certification on our RV covers is 140 MPH wind / 25 PSF snow load, with upgrades
available to 170 MPH / 65 PSF for coastal, high-wind, and heavy-snow regions.
Certification is based on installation on an existing concrete slab with a proper footing, or on the use
of optional helical anchors for installation on ground or asphalt — helical anchors are required for
certification in those cases. Certified engineered drawings are available when your county requires them
for a building permit — just tell us your job-site address when you order.

Metal RV Cover FAQs
What's the difference between Regular, Boxed Eave, and Vertical Roof RV covers?
Regular Style has a classic barn-style horizontal roof and is the most economical option. Boxed
Eave Style has a cleaner, squared-off A-frame roofline. Vertical Roof Style runs panels from peak to
eaves for the best rain and snow runoff, and it's the only style available past 36' — up to
41' long.
How tall is the clearance under an RV cover?
All three RV cover styles come with 12' legs standard, built for tall RVs, boats, and equipment.
Additional leg height up to 16' is available if you need extra clearance.
Is delivery and installation really free?
Yes. The listed price includes free delivery, installation, and anchoring on your level ground or
concrete slab within our service area. Local sales tax applies and warranty terms vary by manufacturer
and region.
Do I need a concrete slab for an RV cover?
No. RV covers can be installed on level ground, gravel, asphalt, or concrete. Concrete gives the
strongest anchoring, but optional helical or asphalt anchors are available for ground or asphalt
installation.
Do I need a permit for an RV cover?
Permit requirements are set by your city or county, not by us. We can supply certified engineered
drawings for your wind and snow zone when your building department requires them.
Can I finance my RV cover?
Yes — we've partnered with major lenders to offer financing, and rent-to-own is available to
land and homeowners in select states.
